How it works
Each character represents the brightness of an area of the picture: with Invert off, darker areas get denser characters such as @ and #, and the lightest areas become spaces.
The characters line up only in a monospaced font, for example in Notepad with Consolas or in a code block in a chat app.
Color appears only on this screen and in the PNG image. Copied text and TXT files contain plain characters.
Text banners draw each letter with the FIGlet “Standard” font, which covers the letters, numbers and symbols on a US keyboard.
